We are fortunate to have alot of house movers and machinery, because one common fix is to move the house off the foundation, build a proper foundation and then set the house back on. While the house is up on the movers skids its alot easier to work on the floor joists too.
Just thought I'd throw that out in case it is an option that you hadn't consideredaswesowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03044715144798675407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9221682415876691468.post-68362294825075862442011-02-03T23:57:16.160-05:002011-02-03T23:57:16.160-05:00What a year, indeed. You gained a house....we are hoping to get a house this year, but the one we wanted was pulled off the market on Feb. 1, 2011. It was supposed to close on Jan. 31...actually as you know there were many delays and extentions, but I guess the foreclosure was too screwed up to recover and now the owner (bank) completely backed out. I am hoping Rachel will get the money she already invested back, but it seems as though it may be a lengthy court battle. Onward and upward is our motto, we are house-hunting already!
Thanks for sharing, I so enjoy your posts, Judy.mixednut555https://www.blogger.com/profile/11115726963756699756noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9221682415876691468.post-18294696994823991412011-02-03T00:33:25.515-05:002011-02-03T00:33:25.515-05:00Hahaha, Gorges...
